Sculpture as an art form holds a special place in my artistic journey, born from a deep curiosity about three-dimensional forms during my studies at Sir J.J. School of Art. Fascinated by my sculptor peers, I often spent time observing their process, cultivating an enduring passion that eventually led me to commissioned sculptural projects across diverse materials like stone, metal, wood, resin, ceramic, and textile. However, among these explorations, ceramics resonated deeply with me, prompting a focused study starting in 2019. By acquiring my first pottery wheel and experimenting extensively with stoneware clay, I delved into clay bodies, glazes, and firing techniques, crafting my own unique recipes. Through five years of dedicated research and experimentation, I discovered ceramic’s remarkable versatility, textures, and vivid color possibilities, making it an ideal medium for my sculptural expressions. Since 2023, my ceramic sculptures embody techniques uniquely developed through this journey, revealing an intimate dialogue between form, texture, and color—truly another soul of my soil.
